Her work has taken her from psychiatric patient care, to human postmortem tissue analysis, to preclinical models and psychedelic drug development, to clinical study design.

Non-automated neuronal spine counting

With heightened interest in neuronal plasticity and psychedelics, many laboratories are interested in changes in synaptic spine density. If you have images that need scoring or counting, Dr. Jaster is extremely experienced in non-automated spine counting using ImageJ in a variety of brain regions including the frontal cortex and nucleus accumbens.
